Preparing for a Guided Hypnosis session is simpler than most people expect. There is nothing specific you need to practise beforehand, and nothing you can really do wrong.

A few things that help:

  • Get reasonable sleep and eat beforehand. Being overtired or hungry makes it harder to settle into a relaxed state.
  • Have a rough sense of what you’d like to work on. It doesn’t need to be perfectly formed — we’ll set the intention together at the start of the session. But having a general area in mind is helpful.
  • Come with an open mind. Sessions often go somewhere unexpected. The part of you that thinks it knows what needs to happen is not always the part that does. Trust the process.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and find a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted.

What I’ll do at the start:

We begin every session by setting a clear intention together. I’ll also check for any resistance or anxiety — anything that might create a block — and we’ll address that before going deeper. You’ll never be rushed into anything you’re not ready for.

If you have questions before the session, a free Clarity Call is available so we can talk through anything on your mind.
