12 sessions over three months. Each one completely yours — no agenda, no advice you didn’t ask for, and no judgement. Just the space and skilled guidance to help you find what you already know is there.
A note before we go further. Coaching is offered fully independently of the hypnosis services on this site. They are separate disciplines with different methods, different aims, and different professional standards. Choosing coaching does not involve hypnosis at any point — and vice versa.
Professional coaching is built on a simple but powerful premise: you already know your life better than anyone else ever will. My job isn’t to give you answers — it’s to ask the right questions so you can find them yourself.
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the global gold standard for professional coaching. It is the body that defines what good coaching actually is — the ethics, the conduct, the practice frameworks, and the markers of quality work — and it is recognised worldwide across business, professional, and personal coaching contexts.
ICF-standard coaching is forward-focused, client-led, and rooted in evidence-based practice. The coach doesn’t direct, advise, or interpret. The coach asks the questions that help you find your own clarity. It is a discipline, and certification reflects hundreds of hours of practice plus ongoing peer review.
A clear arc — from contracting, through reflection, to action you can carry forward.
We start by getting everything out of your head and onto the table. We untangle, prioritise, and lock in what you most need from this particular session — so by the time we go deeper, both of us are clear on what success looks like for the day.
You’re encouraged to unpack your thoughts and examine them honestly — not to perform insight, but to actually meet yourself in the context of the problem you’ve brought. This is where the patterns, the hidden assumptions, and the real blocks come into view.
We put it together. We take the learnings back into the real world, explore how they apply, and identify what support or accountability you need to keep going — so the work doesn’t stop at the end of the call.
Part of my coaching is grounded in positive psychology — specifically the PERMA model, developed by Dr Martin Seligman. PERMA identifies the five elements that, when nurtured together, allow people to flourish rather than just function. The work isn't about diagnosing what's broken — it's about deliberately building what's working, across all five dimensions, not just one.
Coaching that helps you notice what's already working — building gratitude, optimism, and the moments that genuinely feel good. Strengthens resilience and improves decisions under pressure.
Coaching that helps you find your flow. We identify the activities that fully absorb you, then design more of them into how you spend your time.
Coaching that strengthens your connections — at work, at home, and with yourself. Quality connection is the strongest long-term predictor of wellbeing.
Coaching that connects what you do to what matters. Articulating what you actually care about and aligning your time with it.
Coaching that honours what you've achieved and what's next. Goals that are genuinely yours — not boxes someone else expects you to tick.
The aim isn't a quick mood lift. It's flourishing — a life that's genuinely good across all five dimensions, not optimised for one at the cost of another. Clients leave with stronger relationships, clearer purpose, more flow, more accomplishment, and a more reliable baseline of positive emotion.
I’m Martin Pavion — ICF trained coach, clinical hypnotherapist, and NLP master practitioner. But what informs my coaching as much as any qualification is what I’ve lived through.
Over the past decade, I rebuilt my life from circumstances that would stop most people cold: male domestic abuse, wrongful imprisonment, a difficult divorce, and the collapse of a business I’d built from nothing. I know what it feels like to sense that everything needs to change — and to be frightened to admit it, let alone act on it.
I work with everyone, but I have a particular resonance with men navigating serious disruption. I won’t judge, I won’t project, and I won’t push my story onto yours. I’ll ask the questions that help you find your own way through.
“Nothing gives me greater joy than hearing from a client who’s begun to see their life differently.”
Trained to International Coach Federation professional standards — ethical, rigorous, and grounded in evidence-based coaching practice.
Over 15 years in NLP, hypnosis, and the self-improvement industry — and a personal journey of rebuilding from scratch. The understanding I bring isn’t just professional.
Sessions use positive psychology frameworks to stay evidence-based and solution-oriented — not dwelling in the past, but building towards where you want to go.
Every session is unique. These are representative of real clients — names and identifying details have been changed to protect confidentiality.
Twelve sessions over three months. The work itself is identical across every package — each session held to and reviewed against ICF coaching markers. What changes is what’s included alongside the sessions, and the price reflects where I am in my accreditation journey: I’m currently logging the 100 paid coaching hours required for full ICF accreditation, which is why the introductory rate exists.

I was sceptical of coaching for a long time. The phrase “life coach” never sat well with me — social media had made it feel like a self-declared title rather than a real profession. What changed that was actually experiencing professional coaching. Working with an ICF-accredited coach for the first time, I was genuinely surprised by how valuable it was — and how different it felt from anything I’d expected.
I’ve now completed my ICF coaching training and I’m working towards full accreditation. I offer three different pricing options so that cost is never the reason someone doesn’t give coaching a try.
No — coaching is offered fully independently of the hypnosis services on this site. They are separate disciplines with different methods, different aims, and different professional standards. Coaching follows the ICF framework. Choosing one doesn't involve or commit you to the other.
Each session is 30 minutes, scheduled weekly across 12 weeks. The shorter format keeps each session focused — we work on one issue per week, you act on it between sessions, and we review next time.
Coaching is forward-focused — we work with where you are now and where you want to go. Therapy typically focuses on resolving past issues and emotional healing. If during coaching it becomes clear that therapy would serve you better, I'll say so directly.
No. The first session is largely about establishing what would make this work worthwhile for you. Many clients arrive feeling stuck without quite knowing why — finding the right question is often half the work.
That's exactly when we re-contract. After every session I review the work against ICF coaching markers. If you feel you haven't had benefit — or if I judge the quality hasn't met the standard — I'll offer additional sessions at no charge. The Performance Promise applies to the Standard and Elite packages.
Yes. If your circumstances change or you'd like more flexibility, we can move you to a different package. The work itself doesn't change between packages — only the surrounding support and pricing.
The weekly plan is available for the Elite package: £37 each week for 12 weeks (£444 total — same as the lump-sum price). The plan is set up via WP Simple Pay before sessions begin.
Book a free 30-minute clarity call and we can talk through what you’re hoping to work on, answer any questions, and see if we’re a good fit — no pressure, no obligation.
