No — and this is one of the most important things to understand about Guided Hypnosis specifically.

Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, where the therapist directs the session and the client is largely passive, Guided Hypnosis is fully interactive throughout. You remain awake, aware, and able to speak during the entire session. It is your voice and your subconscious that guide the work — I am the facilitator, not the one in charge.

You can ask questions, share what you’re experiencing, or choose to end the session at any moment. Nothing happens in a Guided Hypnosis session that you haven’t consented to, and you would never say or do anything that goes against your values or wishes.

Many clients describe it as feeling like a very focused, relaxed conversation with a deeper part of themselves — not like being controlled at all.
